Woodhall Spa 1940s Festival
The Festival is a fantastic event which celebrates the life and bravery of those on the home front during the years of the war. There is a wide variety of themed events that take place in the village throughout the weekend. It has already established itself as being one of the UK's pre-eminent and most popular 1940's events.

All of the money raised from the 1940s Festival is spent on making the event happen each year. The remaining funds are given to local good causes and charities throughout the year using the Good Cause Grant Scheme. This year some of the proceeds will be donated to a local organisation helping Ukraine refugees, as well as this they are opening the local church where individuals can go and pray for peace for both Ukraine and around the world.
"It is always an absolute pleasure to work with the 1940s committee. We've worked with them for a few years now and having the opportunity to rebrand the festival was something really special for us."

Traditional & Modern
Our aim was to create an identity for the 1940s festival which remained traditional through elements such as fonts and brand colours. However, we also wanted it to have a modern yet creative feel through the use of block colour and bold shapes.
Identity
The Festival identity was extremely important to us to get right because not only was it the first 1940s event since the pandemic, but it also marked their 10 year Anniversary.
